Hertel & Brown is committed to continuing to provide the physical therapy care you need during this difficult and unprecedented time. That’s why we now offer teletherapy for any of our patients who are unable to or uncomfortable with physically coming in to one of our offices.
Teletherapy is a convenient alternative to an in-person clinic visit. This service allows you to access physical therapy care from the safety of your home. Most importantly, this service is covered by most insurances with no cost to you.
Teletherapy allows you to meet with your physical therapist via video chat or phone call. By using these visual tools, our licensed therapists can:
- Observe patient exercises
- Ensure proper execution of the movements
- Demonstrate new exercises
- Progress individualized programming
We believe it is vitally important for patients to continue their rehabilitation programs without interruption, so they don’t lose any gains they’ve made after a surgical procedure or injury. In addition, people will still experience new or recurring aches and pains that should be evaluated and treated by a licensed physical therapist. Early intervention with physical therapy can eliminate the need for further imaging, medication or even surgery.
All five of our locations remain open for patients who would prefer to come into the clinic for treatment. We continue to uphold the strictest CDC guidelines of cleaning, handwashing and social distancing to maintain a safe environment for both our patients and staff.
